As a therapist, I specialize in helping clients resolve issues around race, gender identity, immigration, and intergenerational trauma. I also have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. I’m cross trained in therapy and advocacy to provide those I serve with equitable care at every level. My approach is holistic; I meet people where they are and provide support using multiple modalities that best suit their needs and healing goals. My therapeutic lens is informed by psychodynamic theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the mind-body connection through an anti-oppressive framework. Are you dealing with challenges around identity whether racial, sexual, or life stages? Do you believe you are suffering from unresolved intergenerational trauma? Are you struggling to adapt to narrow and oppressive cultures? Any of these issues can be beyond overwhelming to work through alone. I’m here to provide a compassionate space for you to heal and find your place in in the world. Past clients report increased confidence in their decision-making, ability to set healthy boundaries, and a deeper connection to their inner strengths. They are more readily able to discern which thought patterns are helpful and which are not. Finally, they can find clarity in which emotions are coming up during certain situations, where those emotions live in their bodies, and how to process and validate those emotions. Through this collaborative therapeutic process, clients become empowered in who they are and realize they are worthy of healing.
