Introduction

For the past 12 years I have worked with children, teens and young adults that have been dealt with every type of trauma and hardship in settings including schools, homes, foster homes, residential units and the community. I've learned that change doesn't necessarily happen in 1 hour sessions but during this time I help my clients (you and/or your child/teen) make sense of their world and make sense of the the things that have happened around and to them. We then create strategies to process their hurts and traumas (often times without words), cope with current stressors, make small changes that turn into big transformations, and develop an overall sense of confidence and success in whatever setting they find themselves in.
