Introduction

Hi! My name is Breona mendoza. I am a therapist, activist, and sex education author with over 10 years of experience working with young people and adults in community mental health, domestic violence, and private practice. I work from a strength-based, social justice oriented, trauma informed, and liberation-based perspective. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I enjoy working with queer and trans folks and young people to navigate the intersections of identity, gender, oppression, trauma, intimacy, and sexuality. I practice from a loving and non-judgmental space that meets you where you are at and opens up space to process the feelings and thoughts that are getting you stuck.
