Brent N. Henderson, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist and former Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Henderson received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Health Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Henderson has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conducted research in the area of mind-body influences on physical and mental health, and authored several articles and book chapters in the areas of Health Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. In clinical practice, Dr. Henderson offers specialization in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, strategies to minimize the impact of stress on mental and physical health, adjustment to medical illness and other major life challenges, and offers education and strategies toward positive health and lifestyle changes.
