Adversity or trauma can touch anyone in all walks of life and sometimes we need extra support to come alongside us in times of difficulty. Self-determination propels individuals to do well when given the opportunity and right tools. Having a passionate motivation to help others and a desire to bring positive change to children, youth and families I believe, as a practitioner, that therapy is meant to empower individuals to make these changes. If adversity that seems insurmountable has touched your family my passion is to come alongside to partner and empower you or your loved one to overcome these challenges. I utilize methods including Cognitive Behavioral, developmental, and attachment theories, as well as play therapy, to meet the unique mental health needs of my clientele. I also have post-graduate certificates in Therapy with Adoptive and Foster Families and Infant-Toddler Mental Health, as well as training in EMDR and certification in Intensive Trauma Therapy.
