Introduction

Hello! I am honored to be a part of your healing journey. I recognize this takes a leap of faith and courage to venture out onto this path. However, I am committed to providing a warm, genuine, honest, and safe atmosphere, to foster vulnerability and healing. I believe all human beings have inherent worth; thus I am passionate about helping you recognize your worth and developing the ability to embrace all the parts of yourself. Therapy is a process and involves peeling back layers, of which can be painful, but know that therapy can also be fun! Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is my foundational approach in treatment, but I also utilize other modalities, as there is no one-size-fits-all. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. I received my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Spring Arbor University and Bachelor’s in Recreational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. I come with 10 years of mental health experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I am EMDR trained and currently working towards certification.
