I help those experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma move to a place of normalcy. I work with individuals who want to focus on creating intentional space for themselves to experience joy, comfort, and peace. The ideal clients that I enjoy working with are: veterans and first responders who experience significant work and life stressors along with service-related trauma. I specialize in military sexual trauma. Prior to becoming a therapist I was a SAPR Victim Advocate for the United States Air Force and after becoming a therapist ran an outpatient military therapy program within community healthcare. In addition to veterans, I also love to work with individuals undergoing life transitions, whether a new phase a life, career change, or changing relationship dynamics. Many times great progress can be made with life transitions and many times are often solution-focused in nature, I'm happy to help navigate a new and sometimes exciting time in a person's life and love being able to support them and celebrate the wins within the transition. Further, I been trained in perinatal mental health and have had success helping new parents navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I counsel not just new or expecting birthing people, but expecting partners as well, and provide psycho-education on pre, peri, and postpartum mood changes. Moreover, I also service post-surgical clients for brief solution-focused therapeutic services (2-6 sessions). I help those who who need help with post-op depression and anxiety, body dysmorphia, navigating platonic and romantic relationships after surgery, processing "mom guilt" surrounding plastic surgery specifically, however I do service medical necessity post-surgery clients. Last, the majority of clients I see are high achieving, high functioning adults who experience anxiety, depression, and burnout. I work with creating greater self-esteem, stress reduction, boundaries, work/life balance. This is a supervised private practice.
