Welcome! I am a mother to six children ranging in ages 24 to 9. One in college, one serving her country and four keeping me busy at home. I am also a Combat medic Army veteran having served all over the world including beautiful Afghanistan. Before I would join the military, I was a 9th grade high school drop-out. Literally born on the floor of an old shack in Florida having experienced extreme hardship. It was the military that showed me a new way of life and possibilities. After completing the coursework to catch up, I started to notice that helping others get to the root of their challenges gave me hope. I was inspired by those around me also seeking to change, make a better life for themselves or sometimes just work out the kinks we all have. It was then I decided to go back to school with six children to attain my licenses needed to become a psychotherapist. In the past I have worked with trauma survivors and through this and my own life I have come to realize that one person can change the trajectory of a person’s life. If I can be that one person, to listen empathically in a space in which you feel seen and heard, I’ve met the mark. And if I don’t make the mark- I’m so laid back I don’t mind being told. You are the expert of your own life and I am inspired by the resilience we see in humans when it seems impossible. Currently serving the Michigan and Florida population virtually.
