I am a clinical social worker providing psychotherapy and counseling services in Casper, WY. My aim is to guide individuals and couples in growth and healing, individually and relationally, while helping them become more fully human in the process. My goal in the therapuetic relationship is to build safety and trust, allowing people to feel seen so they can be open to the growth that lies before them. Being a thearpist means being with people often when they are most vulnerable, I hold this privilege with the respect and sacredness it deserves. I see therapy as an opportunity to help people move into the fullness of who they are by helping them experience the full range of human emotion as well as helping establish concrete and functional coping strategies. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and operate with Interpersonal Neurobiology as my underlying framework. This informs my attachment theory focus on therapy as well as an emotion forward and mindfulness oriented approach. I'm trained in EMDR and currently working towards certification and I have also completed AEDP Level 1 training. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and couples dealing with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, grief, and parenting. I modify my therapeutic approach based on the needs, goals, and strengths of the client, so as to find a good fit for each individual, couple, or family.
