Introduction

Greetings, Welcome to NW Transformations Child and Family Counseling. My name is Bonnie and I am the owner/therapist of a small practice in Olympia, Washington. Life can be hard... Over the last few years, you may have struggled with feeling socially isolated, depressed, anxious or have realized that major life transitions have impacted your ability to handle major or minor changes in your life. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I assist client's find ways to handle life transitions and stressors in addition to assisting them develop new problem solving skills and mindfulness techniques. I individualize treatments and use a variety of evidence bases treatments including: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Family Focused Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. For Youth I also use DBT. Most insurances are accepted including Medicare, Kaiser, BCBS of Washington, Humana, Aetna and others. In person or online services provided. At this time I have a waiting list for new clients. PS. I have an emotional support dog, (basset hound) to provide a feeling of companionship and emotional support to clients. Her name is Nellie...
