Introduction

Have you found that talk therapy has not always met your needs? Working with the nervous system holistically through mindfulness, somatic experiencing, breathing exercises and other specialized tools offers us gentler and more effective means to heal past experiences. Therapy is a unique opportunity to be vulnerable and learn to experience a healthy relationship with a foundation of trust and compassionate experience. It is more than possible to live life without overwhelming anxiety or depression. My work focuses on freeing the weight of the past, future anxieties, or loss of purpose now so you can feel calmer and enjoy life. I have worked 20+ years with individuals & have been privileged to be a part of significant work with them. I am trained in traditional CBT, MI, Mindfulness & DBT, and bottom up approaches - Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Informed Yoga & EMDR. I offer my time, skills, presence and perspective with you so can gain skills that will bring happiness to your life. I have received training in Perinatal needs (Postpartum Support International), Early parenting (Gottman Institute), EMDR (EMDRIA), Somatic Experiencing (Center for Human Enrichment), Motivational Interviewing (University of Wisconsin Milwaukee), Psychedelic therapy (University of Wisconsin/Usona & Resilience Tucson), Dementia/Caregiver Support (PESI), as well as current work towards RYT- Registered Yoga Teacher certification (MVP, Austin). The process of making contact with a potential therapist can feel intimidating, and I hope you take that next step and ask for what you need. I'm happy to offer you a free 15 consultation to understand what you need and how we can work together to get you there.
