When Bonnie Donaldson, LCDC CFLE, opened her private practice in 2023, she sought to lay the foundation for a safe place for under-supported adolescents and their families in Collin and Grayson Counties facing the adversity of addiction. The framework of Jack’s house is strengthened by a sense of community which is formed by those who face the adversity of chemical dependency. Together they challenged each other to embrace healthy tools, strengthen their own resolve, and achieve lasting sobriety, through a progressive six-week program. Inside the walls, MFJH takes a holistic approach toward achieving these healthy lifestyles. The program is designed to examine the root causes of addiction and provide a well-rounded and tailored path that leads to a better future. The blueprint for Jack’s House is based on proven strategies and overcoming personal adversity. With success stories where adolescents, with the support of their community, changed their lifestyles, MFJH's founder walked the same path. Bonnie Donaldson’s education, clinical experience, and own personal journey to sobriety set her apart and allow her to connect with those she serves.
