Let’s be honest-therapy is uncomfortable! There’s no getting around that squirmy “I can’t believe I have to tell this stranger my problems” feeling. The only way to make progress is to move through those feelings. I am here to be by your side and guide you through the numerous emotions that come up in session. I admire my clients for their ability to face the challenges of therapy with veracity, strength, and sometimes humor. I’m here to make the therapy process marginally less uncomfortable by providing a safe, non judgmental space. I specialize in sex therapy and work closely with the LGBTQIA and BDSM communities. Many people are intrigued by sex, but talking about it makes them cringe. My goal is to normalize your unique experience and work to improve your relationship with your body and sexuality. Everyone deserves pleasure-I can help you get there. I work with teens and adults and am skilled in working with those struggling with addiction, OCD, eating disorders, perfectionism, and trauma. I have numerous trainings in evidence-based approaches related to these disorders. Now offering ketamine assisted psychotherapy for those that are interested. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an addictions specialization from Lipscomb University. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with minors in Forensic Anthropology and Archaeology from Middle Tennessee State University. I currently serve as a volunteer on the board for the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED). When I am not working, I’m exploring new hiking trails and adventuring in the woods. I enjoy quality time with my partner and pup, drinking (too much) coffee, and running. I provide supervision to clinicians in graduate school and counselors working toward licensure in the state of Colorado. I meet criteria to be an approved supervisor in Colorado only for the time being. Please contact me via email for rates.
