I knew I wanted to help people since I was 9-years-old. The vision looked different as a 9-year-old yet the drive has always been the same. I tried different helping professions ranging from youth ministry to veterinary office support. Nothing quite fit like the mental health field. I studied marriage, couples, and family counseling and learned about relationship dynamics, which has influenced me to take an emotions-focused and systemic approach when working with individuals, couples, and families. My experience in managing my mental health and working through life events and navigating relationships has led me to learn the power of connection. I found healing in my relationships and my community.
