Introduction

Let's work on this together. I focus on working with adolescents and adults using mindfulness strategies, solution focused therapy, cognitive approaches, and EMDR therapy. I offer a calm and nurturing environment where you will feel safe in expressing your feelings and working on personal growth. My approach to counseling is person-centered, relational, and based in human dignity. My interventions are an integration of mind-body wellness, solution focused approaches, cognitive therapy approaches, and trauma-focused care. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and many other techniques. I have experience working with adults and adolescents with a wide range of concerns and many of my clients suffer from anxiety, depression, and/or underlying childhood or adult trauma which has been a barrier to growth. I am thoughtful when choosing strategies and interventions for my clients and create an atmosphere of trust and openness.
