Introduction

Hello! I am Bill Cox, a licensed marriage and family therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples and families explore their inner worlds and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. My approach is built on the belief that healing is both an internal and a relational process—one that invites us to become more attuned to ourselves and the world around us. My commitment is to meet you where you are without judgment, creating a safe and compassionate space for self-exploration, connection, and transformation. Therapy is a process of peeling back the layers and learning to embrace all parts of yourself. My role is to walk beside you, helping you to become curious about the parts of yourself that may be hidden, neglected, or misunderstood. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, facing a life transition, or struggling in a relationship, we’ll work together to uncover deeper insights and find ways to move forward with clarity and intention. In therapy, I aim to help you tap into your own wisdom and potential. Together we will build an understanding that healing does not from simply addressing “what’s wrong", but from deepening your connection with your authentic self. “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” -Rumi What You Can Expect: When you begin therapy with me, you can expect a highly relational, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful agent of change. Together, we will explore what’s happening in your relationships—with yourself, others, and the world around you. The foundation of our work will be rooted in curiosity - curiosity about your thoughts, your emotions, your past, as well as what is possible for your future. I encourage you to be open to learning about yourself in ways you may never have considered before. This work is about integrating new ways of thinking, feeling, and being into your daily life, creating the change you want to see in your emotional world and in your relationships. Together, we will approach your concerns with empathy, openness, grace and even a little humor. By looking at yourself through a lens of compassion and possibility, we will work toward deepening your self-awareness and unlocking your potential for growth, healing, and transformation. “We cannot think our way into a new way of living. We must live our way into a new way of thinking.” - Richard Rohr If you’re ready to explore your inner world, deepen your relationships, and transform your life, I would be honored to walk with you on this journey. Feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation or if you have any questions about how therapy can support you. “The moment you decide to change, your energy changes, your thoughts change, and your reality changes.” -Dr. Joe Dispenza
