Introduction

Dr. Bethany works with individuals, romantic relationships, and families, using in-person and/or telehealth therapy. She approaches therapy through nonjudgmental curiosity and compassion-building skills to relationship satisfaction and communication skills. This fosters healthy behaviors, helful thoughts, and kinder emotional experiences. She specializes in sex therapy, family dynamics and boundaries, and working with neurodivergent people. Dr. Bethany supports LGBTQIA+ identities and is poly/kink-friendly. Dr. Bethany completed her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy in 2014 and her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2019. She is currently completing clinical requirements to become a Certified Sex Therapist. She became an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor in 2020 and can provide supervision for LMFT-Associates and MFT student interns in Washington and Idaho. She is also a board member of the Washington Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT) and has published two books: Family Systems Theory Simplified (2021) and Compassionate Relational Therapy (2025).
