I am a clinical social worker who specializes in working with LGBTQ youth, adolescents, adults and families. I have extensive experience in working with individuals who are navigating their sexuality and/or gender identity, as well as providing family therapy to families of LGBTQ members. I also work with families to help them support their loved ones in their transition, adjust to change, and handle any challenges. My therapeutic style is warm, open and direct; I am here to support you in your journey. I approach therapy from a social-justice-oriented lens and focus on your strengths and identifying and confronting oppression-based and/or structural barriers. I also provide trauma-informed care and challenge individuals to empower themselves to thrive in life. As a therapist, my job is to listen without judgment, challenge you, and support you in your journey. I offer a supportive and affirming environment for individuals and families to explore their current situations, and work on healing in whatever way they need.
