Bethany Hardy (owner) received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southeastern University in Florida (2013) and received her Master’s of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Southeastern University (2014). She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for both individual and group counseling. Bethany is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and board approved supervisor in the State of New Hampshire. Additionally, Bethany is a licensed professional counselor and board approved supervisor in the State of Virginia. Bethany has experience working with clients from all walks of life. Bethany utilizes an integrated approach to meet clients where they are at by using CBT, DBT, EMDR and integrates spirituality as requested by the client. Bethany previously has been the supervisor at a recovery academy for adults with severe mental illnesses and the director of a counseling center. Bethany has clinical experience with depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, severe mental health diagnoses, trauma and other life challenges. Bethany enjoys sports, hiking, the beach, fitness, being outside and spending time with her family. Julianne believes the role of a counselor is to walk along side of each individual, offering support, to bring about healing of the whole person: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. She has a background in fitness and nutrition and desires to help people realize the strength within themselves to face challenges with hope and resilience. She believes that all individuals have the ability to change and heal when provided with an accurate awareness of self, supportive relationships, and healthy coping skills. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches to counseling, including but not limited to, EMDR, CBT, DBT, mind/body, and ACT; using a person centered approach. She has experience working with children and adults who have experienced trauma, sexual assault, anxiety, eating disorders, depression, grief, and other life challenges. She has completed the majority of work toward her Master’s Degree and passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE) for licensure. She currently holds a credential for Trainee for Qualified Mental Health Professional Adult/Child in the state of Virginia, USA. (# 0734007048). She is a certified SYMBIS facilitator for premarital couples counseling. She has worked with adults of many nationalities. She has experience with issues such as anxiety, depression, career counseling, self-esteem, and relationships. Crystal spent part of her childhood abroad due to her father’s civil service career. Since 2008, she has lived few years each in Qatar, Chile, and South Korea with her husband and children. This overseas experience has helped her to develop problem solving skills and empathy which make her uniquely suited for assisting individuals in navigating many of life’s challenges. She is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society (CSI), Rho Eta Sigma Epsilon Chapter. She is also an alumnus of Regent University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a background in real estate. She enjoys activities such as roller skating, sewing, reading, and cooking. Her therapy approach is eclectic with an emphasis on Person-Centered and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She offers integration of spirituality in counseling upon client request. She also incorporates bibliotherapy into counseling. Brian Green recently joined our team as a life coach. Brian Green has over 30 years of experience working with couples and individuals in a pastoral capacity through counseling and coaching. His experience includes working with couples preparing for marriage, helping couples restore their marriage, providing tools for a more enriching marriage, and counseling individuals through crisis and other life challenges. He has a passion for working with couples and with individuals feeling stuck in their growth. He has a love for people. He has received his masters degree in Bible with an emphasis on counseling and continues to observe human behavior, staying current on issues affecting personal and marital health. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his wife of 40 years, his three adult children, his grandchildren, boating, and coaching basketball.
