Introduction

Welcome to Transformed By Grace Counseling. I am a Christian counselor focused on helping individuals, couples, and families find hope, healing, and restoration through the transformative power of faith and counseling. I have 12 years of counseling experience in helping people of all ages navigate life's challenges. My mission is to create a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work towards positive change and personal growth so that you can indeed enjoy a peaceful, joy-filled life. Qualifications I hold a Master's Degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and am a candidate for PhD in Clinical Christian Counseling (May 2024). I am a nationally Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counselor's Association. My professional training in psychology, combined with my faith, equips me to provide holistic counseling services that integrate the principles of psychology with the ancient wisdom of the Bible. I am a certified attachment-based intervention specialist and am also certified in the Murray Method for addressing trauma as well as Prepare: Enrich for working with pre-married and married couples. Approach Every child, individual, and couple is unique, and I approach counseling with a deep respect for your distinct needs and goals. We will work together to explore your concerns, identify your strengths, and develop practical strategies for overcoming challenges. We will also seek wisdom from God, who is the ultimate healer. My goal is that you will leave each session feeling heard, understood, and loved with some practical steps to employ to help you achieve your counseling goals. Together, we will: Seek God's guidance and wisdom in your journey. Gain insights into your thoughts and emotions. Explore how temperament plays a role in your relationships. Address challenges from a faith-based perspective. Discover the healing power of forgiveness and grace. Foster healthier relationships and communication with others. Develop coping strategies that align with your faith. Find hope and healing. What You Can Expect You can expect a warm, empathetic, and spiritually-grounded approach in our sessions. Whatever you are experiencing, we will work together to find solutions and inner peace. I have seen the transformative power of God over and over again and believe He will meet you right where you are and show you the life of peace and joy He has for you, despite any circumstances or choices, past or present. Above all, know you are not alone. You are deeply loved and God has great plans for you that only you can accomplish. John 10:10 says, "I have come that you may have life, and have it abundantly." If you don't feel like you are living an "abundant" life, let's work together to find it! My Commitment to You Confidentiality, empathy, and the integration of psychology and Biblical wisdom are at the core of my counseling practice. I'm dedicated to supporting your emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. In my own life I have experienced postpartum depression and battled cancer twice, amongst other struggles. God has taught me so much through each and has led me to share that wisdom with others walking the path. I'd be honored to make your journey a bit easier and your load a bit lighter. Next steps If you feel like I might be good fit for what you are looking for, I invite you to schedule a free 15 minute consultation, first appointment, or reach out with any questions. Together, we can explore the path to a closer relationship with God, inner peace, and a brighter future. I look forward to the privilege of working with you and being a partner on your journey. *As a pastoral counselor, I do not diagnose mental health disorders, nor am I able to accept insurance. However, I do have the ability to accept HSA and FSA cards. If you are in need of a state licensed therapist with the ability to diagnose or accept insurance, I am happy to provide a list of referrals.
