Bethany Armstrong
Introduction
Bethany is the owner of Wevolve Counseling, LLC and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Bethany has worked in social services since 2003. Her educational and professional experiences have given her skill in working with depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, personality disorders, cutting/self harm, geriatric challenges, couples issues, and mental health related to chronic or terminal illness diagnosis. She also has extensive training and experience in working with trauma survivors. She is a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC) who provides training regarding the impact of trauma and mental health- specific to first responders. She uses a trauma informed approach with all. She is certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy. She is qualified to provide clinician supervision to those working toward full licensure.
