As a therapist, Beth is intuitive and relaxed. She believes in empowering her clients to define and move toward their goals in a positive, validating and collaborative atmosphere in which the client decides what feels safe and comfortable. She believes that counseling is most effective when it is the product of a safe therapeutic relationship based on trust and support. Beth has experience with EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness strategies.
