Introduction

Hello! I am the founder of Positive Healing and Trauma Services. Today can be the first step for you on a journey of self-discovery and healing! Specializing in treating mental health challenges and past trauma, our approach provides for safe and calming experiences for our patients. We provide an understanding of how stress and trauma affect our physical and mental functioning. Through our work together, we learn to process uncomfortable emotions and problem behaviors or thoughts guiding our patients to learn effective grounding techniques to combat problematic moments. Healthy growth is a goal that we can work toward together. As a trained therapist, I use a combination of techniques including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), trauma-informed care, DBT, mindfulness and client centered therapy to work through irrational thoughts and past/present trauma. We are all a work in progress and together with acceptance and understanding, clients make positive changes.
