Beth's therapeutic approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and compassionate. She integrates counseling psychotherapy, trauma-sensitive informed treatment, contemplative psychotherapy, and other evidence-based approaches. She works with adult individuals who are experiencing challenges such as trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, problematic relationship patterns, life-transitions as well as other mental health challenges. Her background in the international corporate sector and clinical mental health settings give her special insight into career issues, and the sensitivity needed to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Beth is an EMDRIA-certified EMDR clinician, and a graduate of the EMDR Clinical Affiliate Program at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP) Trauma Treatment Center. Additional post-graduate training includes certification by The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy (IMP) in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy; the Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute (TICTI) in the Flash Technique; and certification in Contemplative Psychotherapy; Mindfulness from the Nalanda Institute of Contemplative Science and Certification from the Institute of Meditation and Psychotherapy. She holds a Masters' Degree in Mental Health Counseling, from the City University of NY's Weissman Graduate Program at Baruch College and Advanced Certification in Trauma and Disaster Mental Health from the Institute for Disaster Mental Health (IDMH) at SUNY New Paltz.
