I am a therapist who believes that clients should be empowered to guide therapy based on their own goals. I strive to create a safe shared space for therapy where clients can explore their own feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I am committed to working with clients from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. My therapeutic focus is helping clients heal and grow as well as challenging them to develop their own skills for adapting to the many challenges of life. My hope as a therapist is to help clients find their own strength, knowledge, and self-compassion. Gaining this self-awareness can help clients set healthy boundaries, interact with compassion to their loved ones, and escape feelings of being defined by their past. I often use the power of art, creative expression, and humor in my sessions. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Mount Mercy University. When not in the clinic, I can be found in my garden, sketching ideas for my next artwork, or trying to learn a new language.
