My goal is to create a safe space where you feel respected, empowered, validated, and understood. I enjoy working with all ages from young children to adults. I spend the majority of my time specializing in working with children, parents, trauma (including TBI), ADHD, anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ+ issues. My approach to therapy emphasizes understanding an individual's goals, lifestyle, social dynamics, and identifying underlying patterns. I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Utah University and am a current Master's student at UVU studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I like to look at an individual as a whole by acknowledging the mind-body connection as it can help a person gain a greater understanding of themselves & increase self-esteem. Just as our bodies possess the innate ability to heal physically, so do we possess the capacity for emotional and mental recovery.
