Introduction

Belinda has focused her training on healing trauma, not just coping with it, using only evidence based practices, and building a strong sense of self in clients. She has been trained in EMDR, EMDR for Body Image, Internal Family Systems (IFS), IFS for Eating Disorders, Crisis Certification, Trauma-Informed Care, Intuitive Eating, Gottman Method and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients find healing, joy, identity, and inner strength. Belinda has a particular affinity for working with those struggling with disordered eating, women tired of waiting for their turn to be happy, clients going through a contradictory faith crisis, rainbow spectrum clients of all ages (huge ally) and parents of LGBTQ+ children whose lives have been turned upside down. She loves to laugh, sing ridiculously loud in the car, watch others perform on stage, read the latest Brandon Sanderson book, travel to new places, try new foods, watch Friends in her pjs, and be in nature. She’ll even hike if the view is good enough!
