My clients typically come to therapy finding themselves stuck in relational patterns that are not working or navigating significant changes in their lives. This can lead to anxiety, depression, symptoms related to trauma, or other issues that amplify relational stress, often creating a feedback loop that can be hard to break free of on your own. While it’s often clear when something isn’t working, it can be hard to sort out where to start to create meaningful change. In therapy, I support folks in developing self-understanding, compassion, radical acceptance, and skills for creating more ease, joy, and intimacy with both yourself and others. I also offer EMDR and other approaches that support people in processing trauma and resolving symptoms related to adverse experiences. My therapy style is warm, collaborative and affirming. I have experience supporting individuals navigating infidelity dynamics, "anxious-avoidant" relationship dynamics (with a particular affinity for work with the "avoidant" partner), and polyamory/non-monogamy. I also have specialized training in perinatal mental health, and often support TLGBQ+ folks who are in the process of or considering growing their family through pregnancy or surrogacy, as well as people experiencing infertility, pregnancy loss and abortion, or the decision to have a child on their own.
