Introduction

I help high achieving women break through the barriers that hold them back from feeling grounded, connected, and successful. I can support you in unpacking and exploring past experiences and help you understand how these experiences are impacting your present way of being. How you are responding to stress and overwhelm makes perfect sense (you’re doing the best you can), and we can work together to help you find healthier ways to cope. Talk therapy is not the only way to do therapy. I specifically work with trauma and other challenges related to women’s emotional wellness and I do so by using techniques such as EMDR Therapy, ego-state therapy (also known as parts work), and somatic interventions all through a polyvagal-informed lens. I love working with highly motivated, introspective women who are ready to set a new course for themselves. A Quick Note on the Differences Between Supportive Therapy vs. Change Therapy Many of my clients come to me feeling frustrated that the same challenges continue to be present even after participating in previous therapy attempts to “work on it”. They wonder why past experiences are still causing upset, constant internal chatter, and difficulty in their relationships. This can happen for a number of reasons, but the one I see most is that folx have previously engaged in supportive therapy. It served an important purpose at the time, but it did not focus on creating the change needed to mitigate the presenting concern. I enjoy the opportunity to provide change-focused therapy through the use of evidenced-based modalities like EMDR, ego-state work, and somatic interventions to support my clients in transforming their lives. I’m here to help you make sense of your past so you can confidently navigate life in the present. Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? There’s no reason to stay stuck in this place. Let’s work together to move forward and bring peace to your life.
