BACKGROUND AND APPROACH: I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Oregon License L10841). I offer individual telehealth therapy to adults and teens ages 16+ who are experiencing grief and loss, relational challenges, stress, depression and anxiety, and the effects of trauma. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to dive deeper into exploring their relational and emotional patterns. I believe that healing takes place within safe and supportive relationships and it is my hope to offer that to you. Often the “symptoms” we bring to therapy are simply adaptations that have allowed us to survive past experiences and environments; life can be much richer when we recognize this and become able to tell our story in a different way. I aim to provide a warm, direct, authentic, and consistent relationship from which you can begin to do this, uncovering the natural wisdom of your body and mind and increasing feelings of connection along the way. I draw most heavily from theories and therapeutic modalities including narrative therapy, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and other somatic, body-based practices. I also integrate ideas and skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when useful. I work from feminist and anti-oppressive frameworks. I am trained in EMDR Level 1. SCHEDULING, PAYMENT, & FEES I offer a free 20 minute phone or video consultation to determine if we could be a good fit together. I provide 50 minute sessions for individuals, and take Kaiser insurance as well as out of pocket payments. My rate is $125/session, which is charged to a card on file at the time of service. I offer weekly and biweekly sessions for new clients. I do offer a limited number of reduced rate payment options for those in need; please mention this need when you reach out.
