Introduction

The experience of being human can be hard, difficult, and challenging, other times it can be enriching, inspiring, and peaceful, while other times it feels neutral and impartial. Sometimes we just need someone who listens. Here at Willow Essence Counseling we believe that when a person is placed in an empathetic and non-judgmental environment they feel safe to heal, to be themselves and to start to thrive. Beatriz is a bilingual and multicultural counselor who believes that human connection and wholesome relationships help people with healing. Beatriz believes every person has their own formula for transformation and healing and therapy is a pathway to achieve it. She has served as a consultant and adjunct professor for group therapy class in a local university and has held group therapy in the community for grief and bereavement and for sexual assault survivors.
