I work with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with important transitions in their lives, such as the transition to adulthood, a new career or position, a serious injury or illness, or a new or newly-complicated relationship. I approach therapy from a psychodynamic perspective. As such, I aim to provide a safe place to talk about your struggles. Over time, we may detect patterns in your life and relationships. We'll think together about what may drive those patterns, and, if desired, work together toward your desired change. I have six years of intensive post-graduate training in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy and have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings, including at the Menninger Clinic.
