Barbara approaches therapy from the perspective that each client is unique and should therefore tailor therapy to meet their individual needs while including the family system, and being culturally sensitive. Her clients and colleagues describe her as personable, and authentic. Barbara has over thirty years’ experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults in various settings. Including educational systems, juvenile facilities, Children’s Protective Services, community colleges, and community counseling centers. She has experience working with trauma, depression, stress, grief and loss, anxiety, chemical dependency, relationships, anger, and educational concerns. She truly enjoy meeting people and helping them define how they want their lives to be different and identify the steps that will help them reach their goals.
