Introduction

When we experience pain it tends to make us feel powerless and alone. However, as we do this work together I hope you realize that you don’t have to walk through the painful parts of your story alone, and even more than that, you can feel empowered in the process. I offer therapy to individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relational issues, grief and loss. My approach is holistic, integrative, and relational. As a trauma therapist, I hope to build a solid foundation of trust, safety, and rapport so clients feel safe and empowered to intercept the frustrating cycles and patterns they have found themselves in up to this point. My focus and approach is based on and tailored to the unique stories, needs, and personalities of each client. Research amply points out the connection between a strong therapeutic relationship and the overall progress a client will make. I see this relational approach as an integral way to build a strong rapport with clients to partner with them to achieve their goals. I integrate Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Experiential, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to effectively address the needs of clients. I also offer Teletherapy (Video counseling services) to those who are Tennessee Residents.
