Barbara E. Neal

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Therapy For Black Moms
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Grief, Adjustment Disorder,

Introduction

Hi I'm Barbara! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). This means that even when working with individuals, I pay attention to the relationships you have with those around you, culture, and a variety of other things that make you who you are. I am committed to working collaboratively with you to set and achieve goals that utilize your strengths to help you live a more satisfying life. I work primarily with Black moms to support and empower them as individuals, mothers, and partners. I also support them as they work through and heal from racial trauma, traumatic birthing experiences, depression, anxiety, etc. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, or struggling in your various relationships, I can support you along your journey through high-quality, culturally relevant therapy. Together, we'll create a space of healing that will support you in learning and enhancing your skills to deal with life and relationships. I look forward to empowering you on your journey towards growth, healing, and living the life that you want!
