As one of the most complex structures known to exist, the inner workings of the human brain continues to be something that, collectively, we know little about. One thing we do know is that our brains function to protect us from unpleasant features of human experience such as discomfort, pain, and trauma. But sometimes, when the brain is doing everything in its power to protect us from these unpleasant experiences, it may feel as though our minds are working against us, rather than with us. I strive to help clients form a healthier relationship with their own minds, in the pursuit of living their happiest and most fulfilling lives.
