Hi, I'm Ayana and temporary licensed counselor in Tennessee. I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by your emotions and unsure of where to turn. At 13, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety after losing my grandmother unexpectedly. While my family encouraged me to pray and be strong, therapy became the first space where I felt truly seen, safe, and supported. That experience changed my life—and it’s why I do what I do. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I specialize in helping clients develop a stronger sense of self through self-prioritization, self-confidence, and self-worth. I also support those navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and spiritual wounds—especially in faith-based spaces. My approach is warm, collaborative, and real. I walk alongside my clients as they unlearn harmful narratives, reconnect with themselves, and build lives that reflect who they truly are. Whether you're in survival mode or seeking deeper healing, I’m here to remind you that you’re not alone—and that you’re worthy of a life rooted in alignment, healing, and purpose.
