I have called Arizona my home for over 9 years. Upon moving to AZ, I decided to start a new career and went back to school for a Master’s in Counseling from Ottawa University specializing in Trauma, Abuse, and Deprivation. My experience working in mental health for non-profits, residential environments, and group practices inspired me to launch my own practice. HaNefesh is Hebrew for “the soul”. It was important to me for the practice name to carry sincere meaning. Reconnecting to your soul in addition to healing is what counseling is all about. Whether you are struggling with self harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, depression or anxiety I will work with you through a personalized approach for healing and your goals. I know choosing a therapist is a difficult and important choice. I believe in practicing what I preach. I bring my authentic self to session in order to help you bring yours. With a combination of empathy, skill building, and a smidge of humor I look forward to helping you. Your reconnection to your true self begins here.
