My passion and dedication to the field began with my academic pursuits. I graduated cum laude from SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I then proceeded to graduate magna cum laude from Syracuse University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I currently hold a permit as a Mental Health Counselor and receive clinical supervision from Amudalat Fola Lasisi, LMHC, NCC. I have clinical experience providing care for adults, adolescents, children (8+), families, and groups. My approach emphasizes the therapeutic alliance, where we work together using evidence-based practices to achieve your goals. Together, we can confront unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, embrace self-love, express gratitude, and discover effective coping skills at your own pace. Drawing from my unique experiences as a Haudenosaunee woman, I am passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where we can celebrate all facets of your identity. I aim to facilitate a safe space where you feel comfortable, engaged, and heard. A space where you can be your authentic self unapologetically. I prioritize cultural sensitivity, autonomy, and ethical practice. I believe therapy is not a “one size fits all.” I customize clinical interventions to meet the diverse needs of each one of my clients. I primarily derive from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Gestalt Therapy.
