Introduction

Autumn Coppejans is the owner of Empathic Evolution Counseling, LLC. Welcome to my bio! I’m Autumn. Originally from the Midwest, I spent years of exploring various professions until I finally found my calling and passion in professional counseling. I know that trust, and connection are essential when it comes to finding the right therapist. My practice is founded on the belief that every person has a unique story, and clients are the true experts of their lives. I start with a focus on helping clients build their self-awareness, and self-confidence, using a strength-based approach that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives. Some of the eclectic treatment methods I use are Choice Theory/Reality Therapy to help regain a sense of control and empowerment, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which teaches us to rewire the brain to automatically challenge thoughts and feelings that do not serve us. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help get through the areas you have the most difficulty finding progress. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, young adults and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, relational issues, self-esteem, identity exploration, anger management, and trauma. I have a true passion to work alongside my clients and find what will finally get them to the place they dream of being one day. I am here to be with you, where you are, to encourage others to reach their potential and live a life they love. (To better serve my clients: I offer evening and weekend appointments).
