I served high school students as an educator for fifteen years in Texas public schools, and coached soccer with athletes ranching in age from 3 to 22 years old from beginners to division I. After earning my masters of science in social work at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009, I worked as a social worker , in the ER at a level one and two trauma hospital, at Austin's first 24 hour mental health crisis hotline at Integral Care, as a program manager for Communities in Schools and have been working with individuals and couples part time in a private practice setting since 2018. I have also provided individual, group, and family therapy to high school students as a social services specialist in AISD. Outside of Austin Therapy South I love time with my family, being outdoors, and soaking up all moments I can. I aim to offer my clients a well-rounded, authentic, and supportive psychotherapy relationship to empower them to love and accept themselves as they strive to live the most fulfilling lives they can imagine.
