Introduction

I am a Seattle-based therapist who believes that healing our internal worlds leads us to freedom. Freedom from shame cycles, from abusive patterns, and toxic relationships.  I believe that you are the best expert on your own life and am here to help unravel maladaptive thoughts and behaviors that have helped you survive life up until now, to access your inner expert.  I work collaboratively to create an individualized treatment plan that works for you and your specific needs. My Approach: Healing is a deeply individualized process. I believe that every single person makes sense when we take the time to explore their context: where they come from, who taught them nurture, what experiences have shaped their lives. This is the heart of Relational Psychotherapy. Meaning, working with me is a relational experience. We will take our time to unfold the experiences that have made you, you. My Training Includes: Trauma-Informed Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment theory, and Object Relations Theory. My specialties include healing from sexual harm, domestic violence, PTSD, and anxiety. I feel honored to work with humans in such intimate work. Your story matters, and I hold it with care. Reach out to take your next step towards healing. I am currently taking new clients. Education and Experience: · LMHC – Licensed Mental Health Counselor · MHP – Mental Health Professional · MA - Masters The Seattle School of Psychology & Theology · Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing certified by the EMDR Institute Work History: I started my career working with children and families. I chose to start with kids so I could better understand our internal child. Trauma so often offers amnesia from our childhood selves. I have worked with a wide range of individuals and families since 2017.
