You may be keeping it together on the outside—getting good grades or promotions, making friends, remembering to feed your cat—but underneath, you’re wondering why everything feels so much harder for you than it seems to be for everyone else. Maybe you’re processing a new diagnosis, questioning your identity, or feeling overwhelmed by life changes. You’re looking for someone who understands that thinking differently isn’t something to cure or fix—it’s something to embrace. In my sessions, you can expect me to meet you wherever you are and tailor each session to your individual needs and experiences. Whether we engage in deep reflection, identify practical strategies, or create a tier list of Halloween candy, no two sessions—or clients—are the same. I use a strengths-based approach that integrates elements of ACT, CBT, and mindfulness (I’m happy to explain any of those acronyms more in our free consultation). I love incorporating creative writing and other forms of self-expression if you’re into that (personally, I’m a firm believer in writing mediocre poetry). Whether you are new to counseling or a seasoned therapy-goer, I’m honored to support you and will advocate for your needs, including referrals if necessary.
