My name is Audre and I use they/them pronouns. I grew up in a rural area and I love working with other folks from small towns and communities underserved by mental health services. I am experienced in queer issues, substance use, identity work, trauma, and veterans. People of all genders, sexualities, and cultural backgrounds are welcome. I work with adults ages 19+ as well as families. I am trained in EMDR to aid in processing and alleviating trauma and PTSD. I join my clients as a fellow explorer on this journey to write the next chapter and make meaning of their experiences. My therapy philosophy includes a social justice framework. Our stories are shaped by our cultural experiences, and often our problems arise from injustice and not personal failings. My experience in substance use disorder treatment informs my belief that there are many paths to sobriety. I also specialize in working with veterans who are seeking to reintegrate into civilian life. I am honored to work with you in achieving your goals. I hold PLMHP and PLADC licenses through the state of Nebraska to treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Because I am provisionally licensed, I am supervised and consult on all cases with a fully licensed practitioner.
