Introduction

Athena can address a variety of concerns for adults including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD and trauma, grief and loss, pregnancy and post partum, goal setting/ personal development, stress and time management, communication techniques, and Substance Use. She’ll work together with you and then reassess progress systematically. She received her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Trauma Certificate in 2016. She maintains a National Counselor Certification which goes above and beyond state requirements for continuing education and ethics. She has experience working in partial hospitalization, residential and outpatient care, with online therapy, and as the on-site counselor for a fortune 500 company through their Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
