My name is Ashlynn Wigen and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Mental health is my passion which is why I decided to pursue a career dedicated to supporting individuals on their own mental health journeys. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lewis-Clark State College and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boise State University. I have experience working with children, teens, families and adults. In the present, I enjoy working primarily with teens (15+) and adults. I am an inclusive therapist and LGBTQ+ affirming. My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate and relational. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgemental space where clients feel heard, empowered, valued and understood. On a more personal note, I am an avid reader and podcast listener. I enjoy being active, whether that be through weight lifting, hiking or yoga. I love to cook, learn, travel and spend time with family, friends and my two fur babies.
