Introduction

At Beyond Therapy, our goal is to help you learn new coping skills and identify your inner strength that will help you manage your symptoms to serve you beyond therapy. My name is Ashley Willis and I am a dedicated and passionate clinical therapist. I hold a Bachelors in Sociology from UC Riverside, Masters in Social Work from Azusa Pacific University, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification. I have over 9 years of clinical experience working with individuals and their families suffering from a wide range of issues including depression, bipolar, anxiety, and low self-esteem. My therapeutic techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and strengths perspective. As a Christian, I enjoy integrating spirituality into my therapeutic practice with my client’s consent being that spirituality is very effective at helping individuals cope with mental illness. Often times my clients feel stuck or that something is missing from their life which is the leading cause of depression and anxiety. I found that combining spirituality with CBT and strength-based practice has been very affective at helping clients overcome depression, anxiety, low self-confidence, self-doubt, racing thoughts and anger. Together we can draw closer to finding your purpose in life, develop poise, and achieving peace by using a variety of therapeutic methods.
