Introduction

Hello! My name is Ashley Watts, and I’m so glad you’re here. I look forward to meeting you in person at the Winston-Salem office or virtually online if you are in the state of NC. I am currently completing my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through North Carolina Central University. As part of my advanced clinical degree, I am providing therapy for older children, teens and adults of all ages at Camel City Counseling through May 2026. My services are $40 per session OR free for those with NC Medicaid coverage. My passion is helping people from all walks of life feel empowered to share their stories and navigate life’s challenges. Always, my goal is to create a welcoming, affirming environment where you feel safe, seen, and heard regardless of your race, sexual orientation, gender identity, culture, beliefs, or religion. It brings me joy to help you navigate the impact of anxiety, depression, grief or trauma in your life and work toward a more fulfilling way of being. I also help others with life transitions and self-esteem challenges as these can impact us long after we believe they should . Additionally, I strive to be a supportive space for individuals exploring identity, coping with difficult life events, or simply seeking personal growth. Outside of the office, you can find me cooking, baking, reading a good book, or spending time with my cat. I am honored to be a part of your journey and look forward to working together toward your goals.
