***Not accepting client at this time*** Hello and welcome! My name is Ashley Sullivan (she/her). I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who has been working with individual adults and families since 2011. Seeking therapeutic support is an incredibly vulnerable, brave, and unique decision. Perhaps you are navigating significant grief and emotional pain, so you're looking for a secure place to process unbearable loss. Perhaps you would like a space to practice setting healthy boundaries, develop emotional maturity, and identify patterns of co-dependency. Perhaps you'd like to address your family-of-origin dynamics or childhood trauma that impact your current functioning. Clients describe me as warm, compassionate, and relatable with a willingness to incorporate humor as part of the healing process. While I am kind and supportive, I also challenge stuck-points to create movement and directly address client concerns and mental health symptoms. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy as every client benefits from a tailored plan that matches their unique needs. My therapeutic lens is heavily influenced by attachment theory, systems theory, human development, self-compassion, and trauma-informed care. I believe in a collaborative therapeutic relationship in which we can work together in treating your symptoms and helping you participate more fully in your life. Many of my clients are part of the LGBTQ+ community and I am an affirming provider. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to determine if my therapeutic style is a good fit for your needs. In this phone call, I will ask a short series of questions and answer any you may have about my practice and background. From there, we can decide if we are a good fit for your therapeutic work.
