Introduction

Excelsior Mental Health is led by Ashley Smith. Ashley is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who obtained her master's degree from Adams State University in 2019. She has worked in a variety of different settings including inpatient, outpatient, and residential units. Her passions extend from working with adolescents that need extra support to adults who are working through difficult transitions and challenges. Ashley has experience working with the different issues such as anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Ashley specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy to treat emotional disturbances and Borderline Personality Disorder. She is also working with clients who are suffering the affects of COVID-19.
